Picture Gallery of Schofield's removals
One of the more unusual removal and storage jobs that Schofield's staff just take in their stride. It was the removal of museum exhibits from Hall Place in Kent. The Bexley Heritage Trust wanted their exhibits put into temporary storage whilst renovation work is carried out on the museum.
Two horse drawn waggons (without horses!) had to be carefully manoeuvered and put onto our removal van.
A tight squeeze but there is just enough clearance top and sides for the larger wagon.
Adjusting the width of the loading ramp.
After the larger wagon the small wagon is a piece of cake to load onto the van.
Another day, another bygone farm wagon to load and store! This time the removal is in the town centre of Colchester.
On this occasion the wagon has to be dismantled.
Even the wheels have to taken off the axles.
The narrowness of this Colchester museum's church doorway explains why the wagon had to be completely taken apart.
Access is not easy. Loading the van outside Tymperleys Clock Museum in narrow Trinity Street, Colchester.
Schofields always has access to heavy lifting equipment.

Waiting to board the ferry bound for Bilbao in Spain. This ferry trip removes nearly 800 miles travelling by road. Certainly a welcome break for the Schofield's removal crew.
